ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Eligible players for Junior team are players born on or after January 1, 1998 and attend school within Raymond High School boundary.
Raymond High School is the Base School for Post 90 Raymond Legion Team. The Raymond High School boundary generally includes players from Epping and Sanborn High Schools.
A “Non-Base School” is any public or private high school that is not the home base for a Legion team.
“Legal Domicile” (player residence) is determined as of 3/31/14. A player’s Legal Domicile is used to determine the team(s) for which he is eligible to play, if the high school he attends 1) is not a Base School, 2) is a private school, or 3) if the high school he attends is a Base School, but he did not make the team.
A player who attends a Base School (including Raymond Base School) must try-out for that team, before considering any other teams.
If a player does not make the team, he may ask for a release (waiver), and then try out for the Base School team that is the next closest to his Legal Domicile.
A player who attends a Non-Base School must first determine which Base School team is nearest to his Legal Domicile. He must also determine if his school of attendance is located within the attendance boundary of another neighboring Base School – and/or if he lives within the attendance boundary of a Base School.
COST
The player cost of ($200.00) is considerably more expensive than other program due to the type of baseballs used, umpire fees, Clinics, Insurance, and uniform requirements. In an effort to keep prices as low as possible, we will also have our annual fundraiser and all players are expected to participate.
